High volume envelope opener
The Model 306 with its ability to operate at a rated speed of up to 40,000 envelopes per hour, sets a new standard for high volume mail processing. The improved milling cutter with 8 cut-depth positions removes chips as small as 0.01” from the envelope edge, producing a soft, feathered edge while protecting valuable envelope contents. Even overnight delivery envelopes are no match for the Model 306. Equipped with a user-friendly interface, job setup is simple and quick.
Automatic Mail Opening

Opens up to 400 envelopes per minute but is ideal for handful in, handful out, operations. Reverse flow conveyor permits operators to stay in place to both feed and remove envelopes. Auto chaff collection provides a clean workspace while preventing jams and static buildup.
Low waste
The Series 306 letter opener minimizes the amount of waste produced throughout the extraction process. Since our milling cutter "chips" away the edge of the envelope, the tiny waste chips are guided into a large capacity chip bin that can be easily emptied. Ergonomic rolling stand with three mail tray supports and a waste bin are included.
User Friendly
Opens a variety of mixed mail sizes and thicknesses, including flats. Easy-to-read backlit LCD display with multiple job, operator and language settings.
Proven Technology
Proven milling cutter technology protects envelope contents from being sliced or damaged. Processed envelopes have a soft, feathered-edge opening, eliminating paper cuts. Cut depth adjustment knob lets you select from three cut-depth settings, plus a no-cut setting for piece counting.
